Ah well...he'll get used to it.
We drove to CG on Saturday so Shawn could help Ronnie with a project. On the way down we turned on some music. J really liked it. He was doing this with no prompting, I swear:
J & Grandma G
and with Grandpa G.
Then today I got a most unexpected knock at the door. It was a package from a friend in Florida. I'll try to explain how I know her, as I've never met her in person or even spoken to her on the phone. In 2006, as some of you may know, I had a miscarriage that completely broke my heart. I was hurting so bad and found a forum online for women who'd had miscarriages. Long story short, I'm still friends with about 30 of these woman - most of us have gone on to have children - some of us haven't - but they are all wonderful and smart and scattered around the world. I occasionally talk about 'the board I'm on' but don't want to seem too weird. It's just that these ladies were there with me and understood when I didn't think anyone else did. Anyways, one of my friends from the board sent this to me:
It's a diaper wreath! It's cute in pictures but adorable in person. Thank you, Karen!!

The wreath is adorable! Only one problem...I would never be able to use it.
Almost done! YEAH!!! You picked a great time of year to have a baby. :)
That is crazy!! I can't believe it is here!
Wow, so close now! Love J diggin' the music and the wreath is really sweet.
That gift must mean a lot to you. How sweet!
J cracks me up! He is such a funny boy. I love the wreath!! It is not weird about the board my friend went through the same thing as you and I think she still talks to a lot of people on her board.
What a sweet wreath, I love the "got milk" onesie! She will be here soon!
Unsolicited advice: Buy J a present he'd love FROM SP to give either in the hospital or when you get home. He's still young enough to buy it! ;)
