Big boy!

Jeremiah wants to walk. Not crawl, walk. He'll walk around holding onto your fingers for dear life, until he sees something he wants to play with. Then he'll start bouncing up and down until he lands on his butt and picks whatever it may be up. It's been the dog's blanket (nasty!), dog toys, the stairs, shoes, slippers, and yesterday, this sunlight shining through our glass kitchen table and creating a prism effect.

"Hey this is neat! I want to pick it up and put it in my mouth!"



"Why isn't it in my hand?"


And for the past few days we've had 'diaper' time. Usually this is after his blowout - so after I get his clothes off, I let him hang out in his diaper.


Here he is being 'forced' by me to crawl. Today he actually moved forward slightly instead of backwards, so that's good!



And here he is after getting into his second outfit of the day. He really likes standing and can pull himself up into standing position if he has something to grab onto.

Sicky icky icky

So we're sick again! :-( First Shawn got sick, then me, then Shawn again, then me, now Jeremiah and me again! I think J's getting better, he's not as congested today but I am. So on Monday we had a jammie day.

Sneeze face! I'm sick of being stuck in here - let me out!!! Aw look, a doggie!

Happy 7 months, Jeremiah! I can't believe you're getting so big and silly. We love it, and we love you!!

Bubbie got J his first laptop.



And he was having such a good time in the jumperoo. I was laughing so hard at his facial expressions.

Playgroup

Well, it really was just me, J and Kim. Lily slept through playgroup!

First Jeremiah tried out Lily's pretty pink chair.

"Hmmmm...it's comfy..."


"...but I don't know about the color."

He loved it and played in the walker, with the keys, and with the little piano thingy. he was multitasking:

Today is a sad day...

I can't even really say it, but the Packers lost last night to the Giants. It stinks. So...to cheer me (and everyone else) up, I'm going to be posting some cute pics of Jeremiah. His smiling face picks me up every time.





His face reminds me of Lily here - funny considering they're not related!

This child is crazy!

Jeremiah loves to be in the crawling position - he can't crawl yet but he likes to rock back and forth and push his legs up. He must be strong, I know I can't really do that!

Go Packers!!!!!!

Well, the Packers DOMINATED the Seahawks today with a final score of 42-20. We visited Aunt Cher and Uncle Mick to watch the game on their TV, as ours doesn't really get Fox in really good.

Visit with Seth

Today we saw our friends Seth and Erin. Jeremiah LOVED Seth - laughed at literally everything he did, even if it was just crawling around. It was hilarious.



They were nice enough to let us borrow this jumperoo. Wow. Jeremiah loves it. I think he'd stay in it for a long time, if I let him.
He was smiling for me in this one..

...but this is what he normally looks like when he's jumping - it is such serious business.
