Splash pad fun!!

Now that Jeremiah's walking, we went to the splash pad with our friends Shanna, Bailey, Kim and Lily. Here we are eating lunch:

And after being terrified (and hungry I think) J enjoyed the elephant - he didn't like the water (well he did enjoy the stuff pooled on the ground) but as long as he wasn't splashed, he was happy.



And...I guess he figured out where to get money already. Yikes.

Happy 10 month birthday, Jeremiah!

He's walking. :(

I'm sure he'll just get better and better. He improved so fast today I was seriously shocked. He just...kept taking more and more steps and I just stopped counting. He's not even 10 months yet. *hides under table and cries*





In the last month, Jeremiah has gone from having 2 teeth to 5 (almost 6) teeth, from crawling to standing to walking, and is completely feeding himself. Makes a woman want another baby!

Happy birthday, Ari!!

My little cousin Arianna is turning 7 today and her party was yesterday up in Anthem. My mom and I and J headed up there to celebrate. Jeremiah ate pizza for the first time and he loved it, especially the crust!!

And Shawn and I both think he'll be full out walking in a week. Yesterday he was taking 6 steps at a time before falling down. Noooooooooooooooooo!!

When Jeremiah was first born he always used to have one eye open and one closed, so we called him "Pirate boy." Here is a glimpse of him grown up!

A day at the park

Yesterday was beautiful, so we took a walk around the lake at Cesar Chavez park, which is right by our house. It was so nice!

Then today Shawn was doing some work in the front yard. Jeremiah was helping him sweep - can you see the pure joy on J's face? He was having the best time pushing the broom. It was so fun to watch.




Halfway through for some reason I forget and turn the camera - whoops! But the video isn't so much about what you see, it's about his adorable silly laugh. I love that laugh.

Eating videos

Today Jeremiah had his 9 month appt. He is 17lbs 10oz (10th percentile) and 28 1/2" long (55th percentile). Still long and skinny - but he's not too thin, he still has a belly and he's pudgy. He got one shot - barely cried - and had both his toe and his finger pricked for an iron test. He didn't even flinch when they did they poked him.

Here's a video of him at lunchtime. A friend of mine from England sent us Marmite. It is called a 'yeast extract' and is very...odd. I don't care for it too much, but maybe it will grow on me?


Another video tonight at dinner. He had avacado, corn, mango, rice, cheddar cheese, and beef stir fry. He really enjoyed the rice. He kept shoving more and more in his mouth. It was so funny!

Bubbie and Ken are gone :(

They left yesterday. Their flight was supposed to leave at 330pm, but then got bumped back to 10pm! They were able to get onto another flight to Seattle, though, so they left about 8pm. Yikes, all those hours in the airport - no thanks!

Before Bubbie and Ken went to the airport, we had lunch at MBFGR. Great food and they're cheaper than fast food! J loved this balloon, and he also like the hummus, pita, lamb and tzatziki sauce. He is such an adventurous eater!
